Our Vision
A society where underserved and excluded people can live with dignity, opportunity and greater economic independence.
Tamas Society envisions communities where children, women, vulnerable families and people living in disadvantaged circumstances can access education, healthcare, skills and livelihood opportunities needed to build a more secure future.

Our Mission
To create opportunities for education, health, skills development and sustainable livelihoods among underserved and vulnerable communities.
Tamas Society works with communities facing social and economic disadvantage, including children, women and people who remain excluded from essential opportunities. Through education, health interventions, skill and vocational training, livelihood initiatives and collaboration with different agencies, we seek to strengthen people’s ability to participate in and shape their own development.
Our Goals
1. Expand opportunities for women
Reach and support 5,000 women by 2030 through skills development, livelihood opportunities and initiatives that strengthen economic independence.
2. Support children’s education
Help children from underserved communities access education, remedial support, nutrition and opportunities for healthy development.
3. Improve community health
Take health awareness, preventive services and appropriate health interventions closer to communities that face barriers to access.
4. Strengthen sustainable livelihoods
Develop practical skills, vocational capabilities and livelihood opportunities that can contribute to greater economic security for individuals and families.
5. Build inclusive communities
Work towards communities with less hunger, inequality, gender discrimination and social exclusion, where people can live with dignity and participate in decisions affecting their lives.
