A Tamas Society Health Intervention Story

Sri Arjun Roy, 76, was experiencing severe vision problems caused by cataracts, which had begun to affect his daily activities and mobility.
Through a Tamas Society volunteer, his situation came to the organisation’s attention. Tamas Society helped facilitate cataract treatment with the support of Lions Hospital, Ranikhuthi.
His right eye was also operated on a year later. Both procedures were successful, enabling Mr. Roy to resume his normal activities without further complications.
